The longest journey by milk float is 1,659.29 km (1,031.03 miles) and was achieved by Paul Thompson (UK), who travelled around the UK, from 3 June to 20 September 2015.

Paul is a travelling musician, and for this journey he drove from Baconsthorpe, Norfolk to the Edinburgh Fringe festival and back. Paul travelled and slept in a Q Electric Vehicles milk float, nicknamed Bluebell, at a typical speed of around 16 kilometres (10 miles) per hour. The only modifications to the float were the addition of removable panels enclosing the rear, to allow Paul to sleep in the vehicle with his kit.
