The longest chocolate bar measured 15.9 m (52 ft 1.98 in) long and 2.03 m (6 ft 7.92 in) wide and was achieved by Mirco Della Vecchia, Renato Zoia and Giuseppe Sartori (all Italy) during an event organised by BF Servizi Gruppo BolognaFiere during the 7th edition of the Cioccoshow fair, in Bologna, Italy, on 16 November 2011.

Mirco Della Vecchia (Italy) is an internationally recognised chocolate master and already record holder for the largest chocolate sculpture and the tallest ice cream cone. The chocolate bar was measured inside the historic Salaborsa library in Bologna main square Piazza Maggiore.
