The largest ukulele ensemble consists of 2,134 participants and was performed during the Leiland Grow Inc. Ukulele Picnic (Japan) at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan on 28 July 2012.
The Ukulele Picnic's participants consisted of people with varying age range, from small kids to elderlies. Konishiki, a famous former sumo wrestler, joined the event on stage, and was counted as one of the participants.
