The record was attempted to promote Turkish coffee worldwide. 2481 litres of coffee can be stored within the Cezve. The base of the the Cezve measures 1.57 m (5 ft 1 in) and handle length 2.73 m (8 ft 11 in). The coffee produced during the attempt was distributed to visitors at the Marmara Forum Shopping Center and to an elderly home.
