The most tenpin bowling strikes in one minute was eight by Colin Champion (USA) at the Kegel Training Center in Lake Wales, Florida, USA, on 24 January 2011. Champion, 18, was a freshman member of the top-ranked Webber International University bowling team at the time of his attempt and needed 10 throws to achieve his eight strikes.
Champion had previously bowled three 300 games in his life, including one stretch in a city tournament in which he bowled 18 consecutive strikes.
