The largest tapestry measures 288.55 m² (3,105.93 ft²), and was achieved by Planta de Fibra y Lana Convenio Marco de Espinar (Peru), at Plaza de Armas de Pallpata, in Espinar, Peru, on 15 November 2018.

In order to create the tapestry, twelve artisans worked on it for three months. The artisans made the tapestry from scratch, going from the very first step of turning wool into yarn to it being woven into this single, final piece. A 16 metres long wooden loom was used to organize the threads, while the artisans manually interlaced weft and warp yarn for producing this huge tapestry. The tapestry was created in celebration of Espinar's 100 years.
