The most people in a kneeling relay - one knee consists of 534 participants and was achieved by Kanas Scenic Area Management Committee (China) in Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang, China, on 1 July 2019.
Kanas Scenic Area Management Committee organized a large event with the theme of Love in Kanas and Love with China Dream, through inviting couples to attend the event in Kanas scenic area. The attempt was one part of the event. The couples who attended the attempt were from all of 56 ethic groups of China. Some are newly-married couples and some have been married for a long time, even as long as 50 years.
