Betty Marion White Ludden (USA, b. 17 January 1922), better known simply as Betty White, made her TV debut in 1939, just after graduating from high school, and continues to appear on our screens in hit shows at the age of 96 years 24 days (as of 10 February 2018), most recently appearing as Mrs Wilson in the series Young and Hungry (USA, 2017). In a career stretching more than 79 years, she has worked on TV, radio and stage, and appeared in more than 15 movies. Betty is probably best known for her role as Rose Nylund in The Golden Girls (NBC, 1985–1992).
