The largest dhol drum ensemble consists of 2,651 participants and was achieved by State of Assam (India) in Guwahati, Assam, India on 14 April 2023.
The attempt was part of the Bihu festival and saw artists from all parts of Assam participate in it. The ensemble included musical instruments indigenous to the region and together with the dhol or drums created quite a symphony.
