The largest card game tournament consisted of 512 pairs playing Mus and was achieved by Mostoles City Hall, in Móstoles, Madrid, Spain, on 5-6 September 2008.

Mus is a popular card game played throughout Spain, it is played in pairs and the art of bluffing is a crucial strategy.The tournament was a straight knock-out format with half the number of pairs eliminated each round.The tournament started at 9.30 pm and did not finish until 1.30 pm the following afternoon.

The winning pair were local residents Enrique Martinez Espinosa and Francisco Javier Lopez Martinez.
