The largest harmonica ensemble involved 6,131 participants for an event organised by the Tom Lee Music Company Limited in Happy Valley Recreation Ground, Hong Kong, on 13 November 2009.

The concert/event was called Symphony Under the Stars and was organised by the Hong Kong Philamonic Society Ltd. 15,000 people attended and the orchestra played on stage whilst the audience played along whilst seated in the recreation ground. They played the Guinness World Record Melody for seven minutes twenty five seconds.
