The oldest living parrot is 87-year-old Poncho (USA), as reported on 4 November 2012. The macaw who spent her "career" acting in Hollywood movies retired to Shrewsbury in Shropshire, UK, after coming from America to appear in 102 Dalmatians (USA/UK, 2000). However, Poncho was too frail to return home and was taken in by pet shop owners Rebecca Taylor and Sophie Williams (both UK).
Poncho had previously appeared in Hollywood movies alongside Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy, including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (USA, 1994). Her catchphrases include popular Jim Carrey line "Allllll-righty-then". The parrot was previously owned by Birds and Animals Unlimited, a company that provides creatures to both Warner Brothers and Universal.
