The largest operational mousetrap was built by Bio Tec-Klute GmbH (Germany) measuring 4.25 m (13 ft 11.32 in) long and 2.10 m (6 ft 10.68 in) wide, when unveiled in Borchen, Germany on 1 April 2007.
