Roger A. Pelcher (USA) built a gingerbread house with an internal volume of 1,036 m³ (36,600 ft³) at Mall of America, Bloomington, Minnesota, USA on on 22 November 2006. The house was 13.86 m (45 ft 6 in) long, 10.81 m (35 ft 6 in) wide and approximately 18.28 m (60 ft) tall at its highest point.

The structure used 14,250 lb of gingerbread cemented into place with 4,750 lb of icing and one ton of candy. It took Roger and a team of volunteers 1,700+ man hours to complete the construction. Roger Pelcher began building gingerbread houses when he was just 9 years old.
