To boost brand awareness and consumer engagement, Tesco Lotus (Thailand) organised an event aiming to achieve a Guinness World Record for the largest samba dance.

Taking place at the Lotus Rama 4 supermarket in Bangkok, 525 people joined together to dance ‘Zambarobic’ – a lively fusion of the Brazilian samba and the fitness fad Zumba aerobics – for three minutes.

The record attempt was part of a wider campaign called ‘Go Go Goal’ which was designed to celebrate and inspire healthy lifestyles.
