Man's best friend has been well and truly rewarded for centuries of loyalty as more than 100 animals gathered to have their pawtraits taken.
The dogs gathered in a Los Angeles park for the Largest dog photo shoot as part of a new film by Canadian-based Cosmic Pictures.
Called Superpower Dogs, the event was arranged to celebrate the final scene of the 3D documentary movie under the banner of 'Superpower your Dog Day' and featured a variety of dog-friendly activities, giveaways and treats, as well as the official record attempt.
The dog participants were featured in both individual and group shots, in addition to being filmed for the documentary.
A total of 108 dogs spanning 58 breeds took part in the shoot.
