As part of their recent annual conference and 35th anniversary celebrations, beauty and wellness organisation Arbonne planned a loving record attempt for the Most kisses received in thirty seconds, and succeeded with an incredible 56 kisses.
The event was attended by almost 2,000 Arbonne Independent Consultants, including VPs, at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, UK.
Each pouting participant put on one of the brand’s signature shades, leaving the face of Arbonne’s Chief Sales Officer, Heather Chastain smothered in rosy lipstick, whilst the other guests cheered them on in a buzz of excitement.
Talking about the affectionate Guinness World Records attempt, Arbonne’s UK Vice President and General Manager, Vicky Beckett, commented: “This year our annual AAC conference is celebrating the Global 35th anniversary of Arbonne and our record breaking success has ensured the event will be memorable for all involved in more ways than one. Very few can claim to be a Guinness World Records title holder and I’m proud that Arbonne’s Independent Consultants now rank among this elite group.”
The participants could not linger during their kissing, as a fast pace is key for this record title. And there were rules: Only one person was allowed to kiss Heather at a time, and all smackers had to be on the face.
The beauty brand narrowly surpassed the previous record of 55 smooches which was achieved by comedian David Walliams for Comic Relief earlier this year, but they attained the record and hosted an employee engagement event to remember which finished with a certificate presentation from official Guinness World Records adjudicator Fortuna Burke.
