Hundreds of marketers have left their mark at the Marketing Week Live 2017 event in record-breaking style by setting a new Guinness World Records title for the Most contributions to a colour by numbers.
A grand total of 437 contributions were made to the canvas over the two day event.
The picture, entitled the Garden of Creativity was designed by The Marketoonist Tom Fishburne, a regular contributor to Marketing Week magazine.
But the record setting didn’t stop there. Visitors were given an additional opportunity to break a record at the Guinness World Records exhibition stand where they could attempt the record for the Most corporate logos identified in 30 seconds.
A new global best was achieved by delegate Gavin Hudson, pictured above, of start-up company Glint, who correctly identified 42 logos in the specified timeframe.
Hannah Redfern, Event Manager of Marketing Week Live at Centaur Media said: “At our events we like to feel that visitors have not only been inspired and educated, but that they’ve had fun too. Staging a Guinness World Records title attempt at Marketing Week Live has been great fun and we’d like to thank everybody who contributed to our new status as a Guinness World Records title holder!”
