Creative agency 4NOLOGUE. Co. Ltd recently organised a successful attempt at the world record for the Most people making paper aircraft simultaneously (single venue) at the EmQuartier and Emporium shopping centres in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of their promotions for popular South Korean boy band GOT7.

An incredible total of 1,942 paper planes were crafted by the seven singers and their excited fans.

4NOLOGUE. Co. Ltd chose this record title to tie in with the band’s latest single ‘Fly’, with the event named ‘GOT7 District Fly for the World’.

The record attempt was officiated by on-site Guinness World Records adjudicator Rishi Nath, who verified that each participant had spent a minimum of 15 minutes creating paper aircrafts and that they had finished at least three acceptable paper planes in order to count towards the record-breaking total.

The huge amount of paper used for the attempt will now be recycled to make notepads which will be donated to disadvantaged children.

Previously, the most people making paper aircrafts at the same time was 1,720. This was achieved by Aisin Group (Japan) at Portmesse Nagoya, in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, only two months ago.
