Samsung Electronics Germany (SEG) have marked the launch of their new GALAXY S4 Zoom smartphone in the region with a successful world record attempt.

To support the handset’s release, the company launched an online campaign via Facebook with the aim of building the world´s largest photo book.

Calling on the company’s existing Facebook fans, Samsung encouraged their followers on the social network to become part of the record attempt by uploading their photos for use within the book.

As an extra incentive to participation, fans were also given the chance to win one of ten GALAXY S4 Zoom handsets for taking part.
