This week, in a break from our usual format, we cast our thoughts forward to the biggest games to come in 2019 from the likes of PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Capcom, Activision, Bethesda, EA and more besides.

Will The Last of Us Part 2 or Death Stranding debut on PlayStation in 2019? Is Halo Infinite going to be a launch title for the Xbox One’s successor? And will Doom Eternal be enough to see Bethesda to bounce back from the disappointment of Fallout 76?

Then there’s the question of whether or not the Switch will continue to sell like hotcakes for Nintendo? Given the console’s potential 2019 line-up of Luigi's Mansion 3, Bayonetta 3, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Pokémon and Animal Crossing we strongly suspect there’s a good chance that it will. And yes, we did record this show before the news broke that Metroid Prime 4 was being restarted from scratch by Retro Studios – the best laid plans and all that…
