Rubik's cubes are not only loved by children but they also inspire grown-ups to study assiduously in an attempt to solve puzzles which some may find impossible.

There are countless ways to solve a Rubik’s cube, but one boy from China has decided to make the challenge even harder by going for the Fastest time to solve three Rubik's cubes whilst juggling.

Que Jianyu, 13, from Fujian in China, trained for two years before attempting the record on the stage of Zhejiang TV's show, iDream.

Beforehand Que had 15 seconds to examine the three cubes. During the attempt he continuously threw the three cubes in the air, quickly turning his fingers to solve the puzzles as they landed in his hands before launching them into the air again.

His fingers move so quickly to solve the Rubik's cubes it's almost too fast for the eye to see!

The teenager managed to achieve this very challenging record in 5 minutes 6.61 seconds to achieve a new Guinness World Records title.

During the show, Que and his master, Ye Jiaxi, also broke the title of Fastest time to solve a Rubik's Cube (3x3x3) by a team of two with a time of 25.63 seconds, nearly three seconds quicker than the previous record.

Ye Jiaxi is the president of the Xiamen Magic Association and praised the 13-year-old.

"Que Jianyu has a great gift and talent on Rubik’s cube, which requires a lot of practice. This is very difficult for a child. Friends in the circle all call him a 'little child prodigy'," Ye Jiaxi.

Que has been playing with Rubik's cubes since the age of six and has performed his skills in Germany, Italy, the US, and Australia.

He also gained a second record on the show, along with Ye Jiaxi, for the Fastest time to solve a Rubik's cube (team of two).

Working together they solved the puzzle in 25.63 seconds.

But these aren't the only new Rubik's cube record achieved recently.

Felix Zemdegs, 22, now has the record for the Fastest time to solve a Rubik's cube with a stunning time of 4.22 seconds set during a competition in Melbourne, Australia, on 6 May 2018.
