When it comes to opening beer bottles there are a number of creative techniques to choose from.

As well as the trusty bottle opener people use coins, the corner of a table, another beer bottle, even teeth (if they're feeling brave enough) - but few have the imagination to match the methods of Zhao Yang from China.

On the set of CCTV-Guinness World Records Special in Wencheng, Zhejiang, he set a new record for the Most bottle caps removed with a helicopter in 3 minutes.

With a bottle opener attached to his flying machine, the pilot successfully pulled the caps off all six bottles laid out in front of him beating the previous record of four set by Jan Veen in Dortmund, Germany, in 2008.

This successful record attempt took place in 2015 but we can now bring it to you on guinnessworldrecords.com and our YouTube channel as part of As Seen on TV: China, a new and weekly series.

Precision is key

And off comes the cap - you can see it flying through the air

Previously on As Seen on TV: China, we've witnessed two parkour pros go head-to-head to achieve the Highest wall-assisted backflip which involved beating the previous record of 3.4 m (11.15 ft).

And if it's helicopters you're interested in, then how about lifting one and resting it on your shoulders?

In our previous series, Guinness World Records Italian Show, we featured a record attempt from the Italian television programme, Lo Show dei Record, where 'Austrian Rock' Franz Muellner tried to beat his own record for the Heaviest weight supported on the shoulders.

The strongman was aiming to lift a helicopter and structure to surpass his previous record.
