After a triumphant season of record-breaking on FOX’s The F Word with Gordon Ramsay, the finale of the competitive cooking show aired on a high note with the award-winning chef and star of the show earning his second record title.

For the final attempt of the season, aGuinness World Records official adjudicator Michael Empric was welcomed to the set once again, this time to verify Gordon’s culinary record attempt for the Longest Pasta Sheet Rolled in one minute

In order for this high-stakes record to be successful, the dough used needed to consist of flour, eggs, salt, and water.

The multi-Michelin star chef also needed to ensure that once rolled, the pasta sheet must be no less than 0.15 cm thick.

Gordon had managed to get plenty of practice in setting world records during previous episodes throughout the season.

In the series’ third episode, Gordon went head to head with expert fish monger Jenna Rabich (USA) for the Fastest time to fillet a 10 lb fish, and managed to obtain the record with a time of 1 minute and 5 seconds.

He’s also witnessed several other guests on the show try their hand at records relating to their field of expertise, spanning from Largest pizza base spun in one minute, Most slices of carrots sliced while blindfolded in 30 seconds, and Most juice extracted from grapes by treading in one minute.
