For the first time, Guinness World Records will be in attendance at Brick Fest Live in Richmond, Virginia (USA) this weekend (September 17-18th).
Brick Fest Live is the ultimate LEGO fan experience that inspires, educates and entertains thousands of children and families across the country at regional live events.
Kids, and kids at heart will be able to let their imaginations run wild at the show at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, where visitors will now also be able to break LEGO world records.
Our Guinness World Record Live! booth will be at the event, giving members of the public the chance to practice, attempt and break actual records in real time.
Open to all people of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of record-breaking, attendees will be able to take on the following titles at our stand:
o Fastest time to build a 6 level LEGO pyramid (team of 2)
o Fastest time to stack 20 large LEGO bricks
o Fastest time to build 3 LEGO minifigures (Saturday only)
o Most LEGOs taken off the baseplate and held in the hand in 30 secs (Sunday only)
The official GWR Live! booth, will feature a setup of coaches, practice tables, and official adjudicators, allowing anyone at the show to make their own piece of record-breaking history.
As another exciting treat, Brick Fest Live is also set to attempt to break the record for Largest LEGO Mosaic of a LEGO Minifigure on Saturday at the event with the organisers aiming to create a super-sized version of Darth Vader using over 58,000 pieces.
The event requires tickets to attend, but participating in record breaking during the show is free of charge!
