Each week here on guinnessworldrecords.com, we’ll be dipping into our extensive video library to bring you a classic piece of record-breaking action.

In honour of National Rollercoaster Day which is celebrated in the US on Tuesday, this week’s classic clip shows Julia and Stephanie Mueller from Germany whizzing into the record books with a successful attempt at the Most hair rollers put on in one minute while on a rollercoaster.

The talented twins achieved an impressive record of 17 hair rollers while on the set of Wir Holen Den Rekord Nach Deutschland at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, on 26 June 2013.

The challenge took place on the Matterhorn-Blitz rollercoaster at Europa-Park and official Guinness World Records adjudicator Benjamin Blackhouse sat behind the twins on the ride to oversee the entire record attempt.

A year earlier at the same theme park, Artjom Pusch (Germany) set the record for the Most capital cities named in one minute while on a roller-coaster, managing to hold in his screams and successfully recall 27.

Then, in yet another feat of team-work, Özgür Tuna and his "co-pilot" Udo Baron (both Germany) took to the track to attempt Most eggs retained whilst on a roller-coaster: Özgür guarded the eggs in a standard shopping basket and Udo called out the direction in which the ride would turn next.
