Welcome to the Guinness World Records Italian Show – a weekly video series which features the most astonishing, shocking and awe-inspiring record attempts from the seventh series of Italy’s Lo Show dei Record.

Fiji beat Great Britain in the Rio Olympics rugby sevens final and perhaps practicing with a scrummaging machine is what gave them the upper hand.

Italian rugby union team Petrarca Rugby certainly value the practice, as they attempted to set a record for the Fastest 10 m pushing a rugby scrum machine on the set of Lo Show dei Record in Milan.

The incredibly strong sportsmen managed to push the machine over 10 metres in just 14.10 seconds, successfully earning the title.

The total weight of the scrum machine was a whopping 1,500 kg, including four players standing on top of it and additional weights.

The Largest rugby scrum ever was achieved by Sport Impact (UK) with 1,198 participants in Middlesex, UK last year to celebrate the UK hosting the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
