Guinness World Records has today confirmed that the executive library of JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square as the Highest library from ground level
 
Housing more than 2,000 books, the executive library is situated at 230.9m above ground level on the top floor of the 60-storey, five-star hotel. 
 
The library’s collection comprises English and Chinese classics, architecture, philosophy, history, art and art history, as well as classical and contemporary literature.

Speaking at a presentation ceremony in Shanghai, Alistair Richards, President of GWR, said, “I am delighted to present the certificate for ‘Highest library from ground level’ to the JW Marriott hotel.
