Minefaire: A Minecraft Fan Experience is coming to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in in Oaks, Pennsylvania this weekend, and visitors to the event will be given the thrilling chance to become a record holder.
Organized by All Access Labs, from October 15th to the 16th, guests attending the inaugural Minefaire will get to engage in Minecraft workshops and see stage presentations, Minecraft attractions, as well as being able to meet and greet YouTube Gamers.
Elsewhere, an educator’s stage will give teachers and tutors a space to gather, connect, and share Minecraft stories.
Our Guinness World Record Live! booth will also be at the event, giving members of the public the chance to practice, attempt and break actual records in real time.
Open to all people of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of record-breaking, attendees will be able to take on the following titles at our stand:
• Fastest time to stack 20 large LEGO bricks
• Most plush toys caught blindfolded in 30 seconds (team of 2)
• Tallest staircase built in one min in Minecraft (Saturday only
• Most scarecrows built in 3 mins in Minecraft (Sunday only)
The official GWR Live! booth, will feature a setup of coaches, practice tables, and official adjudicators, allowing anyone at the show to make their own piece of record-breaking history.
Top accomplishing participants at our record stations will be invited back for an official Guinness World Records attempt at the end of the hour, judged by one of our adjudicators.
The organizers of Minefaire will also be attempting two records at the event, which will be verified by an official adjudicator:
• Largest architecture lesson
• Largest convention for a single – video game
