Celebrating some of the stars of the new Guinness World Records 2016 book this week and hosting a number of exciting record attempts, NBC's Today Show this week features live action from the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

Yesterday saw five talented gymnasts of Team Turbo Dunk set a new record for Most basketball slam dunks by a team using a trampoline in one minute, breaking the previous record of 28 set in Norway for Guinness World Records Day 2010 by Team Kangeroos.

Also getting involved in the fun and dressed appropriately for a messy water balloon challenge were hosts Natalie Morales and Willie Geist. Unfortunately the duo weren't successful in their attempt to break Most water balloons caught and kept in one minute - but the results were very entertaining.

Stay tuned to Today all week and check the live video and photo updates via Twitter from Guinness World Records and Today Show.
