Each week here on guinnessworldrecords.com, we’ll be dipping into our extensive video library to bring you a classic piece of record-breaking action.

This week’s Classic video takes you back to 2010 in China when thousands of people dressed in white sat in a 7.2 km-long human domino formation – before toppling over, one after the other.

The Longest human domino line was formed by 10,267 participants at the Ordos International Nadam Fair in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

The participants consisted of students and other citizens from Ordos City, and it took a lengthy 69 minutes 43 seconds to complete the line’s course. The message read: 'Dongsheng welcomes you' - Dongsheng District is part of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, China.

A visually spectacular record, this footage reveals the incredible scale of the human domino line in action. This impressive display demonstrating dedication and cooperation on a grand scale has yet to be bettered - but as always, our records team welcome new attempts!
