Each week here on Guinnessworldrecords.com, we’ll be dipping into our extensive video library to bring you a classic piece of record-breaking action.

Guinness World Records Classics: Farthest distance cycling underwater

We’re riding back in time to July 2003 for an impressive display of pedal power from Ludovic Diligeart (France) as he clocks up a distance of 702 m (2,303 ft) on a submerged exercise bike in a single breath on the set of L'Ete De Tous Les Records, Benodet, without the use of any breathing equipment, setting the world record for Farthest distance cycling underwater on a static bike.
