Serial record-breaker Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya (India) secured a place in Guinness World Records 2016 after setting a record for the Most lit candles in the mouth, stuffing a potentially dangerous total of 12.

But for Guinness World Records Day 2015 the multiple title holder decided to step it up a notch and has successfully broke his own record by holding 15 flaming candles in his mouth during a succesful attempt in Mumbai, India.

To earn the record Dinesh had to use standard, commercially available candles and they all had to remain in his mouth for a minimum of 30 seconds, with no support from his hands or other body parts.

From a young age it was always Dinesh Upadhyaya's dream to become a record breaker, and now he is the proud owner of a multitude of titles including Most grapes eaten in one minute (73) and Most dice caught with cupped hands while blindfolded (43), which he achieved with the help of his brother Manish.
