Astronaut Chris Hadfield will be one of the Guinness World Records title holders at this week’s Festival of Marketing in Tobacco Dock, London, but how many more record breakers will we see at this event?

Chris, who holds the Guinness World Records title for First music video filmed in space, became a social media sensation after he posted his rendition of David Bowie’s Space Oddity on YouTube.

And we’re delighted to announce that visitors to the Festival of Marketing will be given the opportunity to become record breakers in their own right, by visiting the Guinness World Records stand and trying their hand at one of our record breaking challenges.

They can also take part in an official record attempt for Largest marketing lesson, which will be led by marketing and advertising guru Sir John Hegarty (pictured below).

Those that are interested in finding out how to deliver record-breaking events should head to the multi-channel stage at 11.45 am on 12 November to hear Sam Fay, Guinness World Records’ SVP of Global Brand Strategy, share examples of record-breaking multi-channel campaigns.

With so much going on, don’t miss out the action – come and see us at the event.
