Hi there world record fans, welcome to the latest installment in this regular series, looking at the latest happenings on our Challengers website. Challengers is our free and fast online record-breaking platform, where anyone can make a world record attempt at home, and share their video of it with the world, potentially even earning themselves an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS certificate!

Find out more about Challengers, and learn how to use the site HERE.

Now, what's happened on Challengers in the past 4 weeks? Let's take a look...

New records awarded

Over 30 world records have been awarded on Challengers in the last month, for attempts ranging from the fastest time to type the alphabet on an iPad to the fastest time to eat three pickled eggs. Here are a few of the highlights:

Most spoons balanced on the face:

Dalibor Jablanović proved himself to be a master of cutlery with this attempt, balancing a record 28 spoons all over his face:

Highest score on Wii Fit Hula Hooping:

New challenger Sydney Crago launched herself straight into the record books with this attempt, scoring 332 points, comfortably beating the previous record by 5 spins.

Fastest time trail, Ancient Lake on Diddy Kong Racing (Nintendo 64):

The game might be over 10 years old, but competition is hotting up on this N64 kart racer, with the current record holding being Ryan Tanner Sullivan, for his 61.11 second time.

User of the month

Each month, we'll take a look at one of our record-holding Challengers users, finding out what records they hold, and why they like to break world records on the site.

This week it is Dalibor Jablanović, a professional computer technology engineer from Serbia, who currently holds one world record, though has broken several in the past.

Speaking about his experience with Challengers so far, Dalibor says:

"I discovered Challengers completely by accident, and then thought: 'this is my chance!'. On the site we are one big family of friends and rivals, with just one rule: 'win, or be deafeated'. My future goals are to hold the most Guinness World Records titles of anyone in my country, and then the whole Balkan region - but I will need a lot of practise!"

New challenges added

We regularly add new world records to Challengers, to ensure there is always something fresh and exciting for you to make an attempt at - and often this is the result of a user suggestion. Recently we've all been going bonkers for dice-related records, and have added a whole swathe of new record challenges using them including:

Most dice stacked on the back of the hand in 30 seconds

You'll need not just one, but two very steady hands to be in with hope of beating this record.

Most 6-dice pyramids built in 30 seconds

For those of you who want to stack dice, just not all in one tower!

Most elbow snatches of a die in 30 seconds

If stacking dice isn't for you, how about catching them?

Good luck with all your record attempts (especially those using dice!) - we hope to see you on Challengers very soon!
