Greetings! ‘Tis I, your guide to all things video here at Guinness World Records, bringing you your weekly update on the bits you might have missed…

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin…

First off, we’re knocking on the door of the Slo-Mo Test Lab… Except that everything is so slow in there that we thought nobody was home.

This time, Bing is hanging out with some BMX riders via the powers of green-screen (i.e. not really...) in – you guessed it – suuuuper sloooow mooootion…

Before we move onto our next record, I’m just going to leave this here.

As many of a certain age in the early ‘90s will agree, that is one of the coolest TV intros ever. Those who disagree are just wrong.

What could possibly be cooler, I hear you cry? I’ll tell you what…

Jason David Frank (aka Tommy, aka Green/White Ranger in the original series) jumping out of a plane and punching through 7 wooden boards before he open his ‘chute. That’s what.

Despite Oli declaring it a “lifelong dream” to meet the Green Ranger, I’m pretty sure that he couldn’t have been more than a year old when Jason was sticking it to Rita and the Putty Men. I’ll let it slide though.

What a guy.

Next up we get a sneak peek at a team of record breakers in the making…

I’ve always loved land speed records and here in the UK we have a team working hard on a new car that will push the record to over 1,000mph, which is just CRAZY. The current land speed record is 763mph and was set nearly 16 years ago…

We got exclusive access to the workshop where Bloodhound SSC is being designed and assembled, bringing you a first (of many) look at this amazing machine as the project progresses…

Finally, if you’re a fan of tennis I’m sure you’re well aware that Wimbledon 2013 is in full swing.

The competition this year has certainly not been without its surprises on court. Oli went over to the iconic club in south west London to serve up some of the biggest records set there over the years…

Check back same time next week for more great videos…

Bye!
