The City of Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Germany has won last week's Fan Choice, with its record for the longest line of decorated eggs. In what was the Fan Choice with the most votes we've ever received, the egg line nabbed 39.45% to take home the crown in a hotly contested competition.
Osterholz-Scharmbeck will now be entered in our list of contenders for a year-end showdown in which we'll ask you fans to vote for your favorite record of the year at the end of 2013.
Time now to meet this week's candidates and then cast your vote below. This week sees teamwork ranging from the thousands to an impressive father and son. But first, gas up the hog, because we're hitting the open road.
LONGEST JOURNEY BY MOTORCYCLE IN A SINGLE COUNTRY (pictured above)
Record: 28,049.66 km (17,429.22 miles)
Holders: Vishnu Mehta and Santanu Chakraborty (both India)

That's not all: The idea to make this attempt was originally Mehta's, before asking his frirend Chakraborty to ride alongside him for the journey of a lifetime. The duo spent 74 days on the road. The goal of the trip was to promote highway safety among Indian motorists, with each man's bike having a bumper sticker affixed proclaiming, "Our Aim: No Accidents."
HEAVIEST WEIGHT LIFTED WITH AN EYE SOCKET (FEMALE)
Record: 6 kg (13.23 lb)
Holder: Asha Rani (India)
Location: Mahilpur, Punjab, India
That's not all: Elsewhere on the subcontinent, Rani calls herself "The Iron Queen," and for good reason. In addition to this crazy record, she's also held the female records for the heaviest vehicle pulled by the hair, heaviest vehicle pulled by the ears, and fastest time to break 16 concrete blocks on the body.
FASTEST MARATHON RUN BY PARENT AND CHILD
Record: 5 hr 30 min 21 sec aggregate
Holders: Henry Peck and his son Graham (USA)
Location: Chicago Marathon, Chicago, Illinois, USA
That's not all: Graham, 23, is the one in the photo above, clocking in at an official time of 2 hr 25 min 40 sec. His father Henry, 55, finished in 3 hr 4 min 41 sec. Their combined time beat the previous record by 12 min 20 sec. The Chicago Marathon is one of the five World Marathon Majors.
LARGEST DISPLAY OF ORIGAMI FLOWERS
Record: 50,178 flowers
Holder: Aichi Prefectural Chigusa Senior High School (Japan)
Location: Nagoya, Aichi, Japan
That's not all: The flowers were all identical irises, colored in different shades of purple. Only a portion of the total display is featured in the photo above, as 505 different sections of flowers were brought together for the attempt.
LARGEST PICTURE MOSAIC FORMED BY PEOPLE
Record: 1,568 participants
Holder: login Berufsbildung (Switzerland)
Location: Swiss Stadium, Berne, Switzerland
That's not all: login is a training association for more than 50 transport companies in Switzerland, and made the attempt to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary. The photo mosaic depicted was of a picture from one of their new publicity campaigns.
