2013 has got off to a flying start for global pop phenomenon and
teen heart-throb Justin Bieber. Earlier this week he released his
new Believe Acoustic album, and he's now also earned
himself another Guinness World Records title.
The 18-year-old star has overtaken fellow chart-topper Lady Gaga
to be the most followed user on
social-networking site Twitter.
When the record was updated, he had 33,682,239 followers of his
@justinbieber feed, having
pushed ahead of @ladygaga, who on the same day had
33,581,095 followers.
This latest record will surely be a boost for the young singer,
whose music video for "Baby" was surpassed as the most-viewed video
online in November last year by PSY's "Gangnam Style" which also
became the
first video online to be viewed 1 billion times.
Bieber also holds a Guinness World Records title for being the
first solo artist to have three No.1 albums before the age of 18
(US).
As for Justin's fans, the self-styled "Beliebers" - you can give
yourselves a pat on the back, he couldn't have achieved this record
without your support and follows!
