With 35 consecutive handsprings, 16-year-old student Miranda Ferguson has set a new Guinness World Record at St Mark's School of Texas in Dallas, Texas, USA.

Covering 61.58 m (202 ft 0.48 in), Miranda's attempt lasted 32.2 seconds as she traveled between the 15-yard lines on the high school football field.

The previous record was 32 handsprings, set by Chelsey Kipping in 2010.

Miranda was presented with her official certificate on the set of NBC's Today Show on Friday, October 19th.
