There was a composer and an ensemble, but it was finger clicking which sealed a Guinness World Records record title for employees at an automotive company in Spain earlier this month.

Workers and their families from SRG Global Liria snapped their way to the title of the largest finger snapping (clicking) ensemble with 1,221 people taking part.

Conducted by Rodrigo García Navarro who has directed orchestras in both Spain and Germany, the attempt saw participants perform to the Johann Straus piece "Radetzky March".

Rodrigo warmed up the ensemble with some rehearsals and encouraged them to alternate finger clicking between one and two hands.

Young and old took part in what was to be a successful attempt, which formed part of a family fun day to recognise workers and their efforts at the factory.
