Professional sports bike freestyle rider Jesse Toler set two new
motorcycle records this month with the fastest stoppie and longest
stoppie on a motorcycle at the Z-Max Dragway, Charlotte Diesel
Super Show, in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
A 'stoppie' is the term for balancing on only the front tire,
achieved by a high rate of speed and applying the front brakes to
lift the rear of the motorcycle.
Jesse, who has been a professional rider for over 9 years,
achieved the fastest stoppie on motorcycle at 150 mph (241.4
km/h).
He also was able to achieve the longest stoppie on motorcycle with
1320.3 feet (402.42 meters) in a separate attempt.
Jesse's parents attended the event, and his mother noted that she
was not worried about the longest stoppie -- but she was nervous
about the fastest. (It is very dangerous when riding that speed on
only the front wheel!).
