Totally Smashed
Kyokushin Karate expert Narve Laeret has been having a smashing time in Norway. On 9 November 2006 the Oslo-based record breaker literally shattered the world record for the most concrete blocks broken by hand in one minute when he pounded his way through an incredible 90 blocks of concrete in just 16.56 seconds.
After breaking the previous record, set at 64 blocks by Swedish superman Ali Chehade at Helsingborg, Sweden, on 30 May 2004, Narve commented “Ow! Just look at the state of my nails!”
