Record Breakers

Records were broken in bulk in Germany, where attempts were made on the Longest singing marathon by an individual, the largest map printed , the cinema with the smallest seating capacity, the largest lantern and the largest chocolate ever made.

The record for the longest singing marathon, which stood at 58 hours and 35 minutes and was held by Antonio Di Modugno of Italy, seems to have been surpassed by Hartmut Timm of Germany with 59 hours 15 minutes.

The record for the cinema with the smallest capacity now belongs to The Palastkino on Bahnhofstraße in Radebeul which opened on 30 October 2006 with the film Smoke (Germany/ USA/ Japan, 1995). The cinema is located in the building of Radebeul West train station and has 9 seats.

The attempt for the largest map printed reached dimensions of 5 m x 7 m in Lenting.
