We wrote the Book on Reality TV

In 1998, we saw the introduction of Guinness World Records television programming. Since then, our shows have been seen by a quarter of a billion people in over 90 countries, and we are committed to continue the development of one of the best-loved and most sought-after factual entertainment franchises in the world. Original productions in the USA, UK, Australia, Japan, Spain, France, Germany, Scandinavia and China are complemented by distribution deals in an additional 80 territories spanning six continents.

Local productions in key markets account for 650 hours of primetime and access-primetime family entertainment.

Our most recent production partners include CCTV in China, Norddeich TV in Germany, Europroducciones in Spain and R&G Productions in France. Additionally, we have worked with Emmy award-winning LMNO Productions in the USA, Granada Productions in the UK and Australia, and Nordisk TV in Finland.

Brand new productions for the next 12 months include a 6 x 60' studio show on CCTV in China and two primetime studio extravaganzas in Germany on RTL.

In addition to commissioned shows, our development slate is full of innovative reality and subject-specific formats, all designed to take a different, sometimes quirky, but always entertaining slant on the ever-popular Guinness World Records brand.

Bespoke programme formats are deisgned to celebrate, reflect and respect local and cultural nuance, as well as showcase personalities and mind-blowing record attempts from all over the world. Guinness World Records is truly a global brand, and our unique programming suits only those who require real family entertainment of the highest quality!

All library shows are available in DigiBeta or BetaSP, as well as PAL and NTSC formats. Guinness World Records TV attracts the number one position in its timeslot on a consistent basis, and we continue to maintain market-leading demographic performances in the key 14–39 age range.
