Guinness World Records Products

Guinness World Records

Our primary product, the annual Guinness World Records, is the highest selling copyright book in history. Published in 25 languages, and sold in more than 100 countries around the world, it takes 25 days to print, and 20 days to complete the casings on the book. Production requires 55 tonnes of ink, 26 tonnes of glue, 76 kilometres of glue for the head and tail bands (at the top and bottom of the spine), and 3,500 tonnes of paper, transported on 2,000 reels, each 1.37 metres wide and with a combined length of 21,000 kms.

Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition

In March 2008, we published the inaugural edition of the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition. Video gaming is one of the world’s fastest-growing industries and the Gamer’s Edition fits squarely into this lucrative and exciting market. Editorially, it covers the broadest reach of the market possible, with sections for both beginners (“casual”) and experienced (“hardcore”) gaming enthusiasts. The Gamer’s Edition is entirely separate from the main Guinness World Records book, and contains no crossover in terms of editorial or photographic content.
