The Solution

The Villa Mix Festival - Goiânia Edição teamed up with Guinness World Records to make the event record-breaking. They decided to construct the ultimate stage for this monumental occasion. After 31 days of construction, 1,500 people, 628 tons of equipment and 3909.12 ft2 (1,191.50 m2) of LED screens, the festival team built the Largest stage rig for a music concert.

With the stage measuring 30,013.98 ft2 (2,788.39 m2) and 171 ft 8 in (52.34 m) in height, the organizers at The Villa Mix Festival achieved the title surpassing U2’s previous record of 229,000 ft2 (2,694 m2). This amazing feat was also the first time a record has been attempted in the Brazilian state of Goiás.

Villa Mix is a traveling festival that takes place in Brazil’s major cities. With this amazing feat and the Guinness World Records recognition, as being the largest stage rig, we were able to promote our Sertanejo music festival across the planet. Today we made history and Villa Mix has become one of the biggest music festivals in the world.
