Largest packaged product display
9 June 2008. How many laundry loads can be washed with a maze? The answer to this question was solved on Monday 9 June 2008 in the TUŠ Cash & Carry, in Maribor, Slovenia, where the new Guinness World Record for the largest packaged product display was unveiled.
Procter & Gamble Slovenia provided 15,680 packages of Ariel washing powder to create a maze 120 m³ (4237 ft³) large in the TUŠ Cash & Carry premises in Maribor, which turned out to be the largest packaged product display in history.
Guinness World Records Adjudicator, Carlos Martínez, travelled to Maribor to confirm the measurements and adequacy of the display. Once the Ariel washing powder display was completed in the shape of a maze, the new Guinness World Record was immediately announced and Procter & Gamble as well as TUŠ were officially certified as the new Guinness World Record holders.
This new record will now be a part of the history of Maribor, along with the other Guinness World Record for the oldest vine in the world. which is also located here.
By the way, the answer to the first question is: The number of loads capable to be washed by a Guinness World Record display is 627,200!
